Australian 24 Hour Track Invitational

Prize Money & Records

One of the goals of the Australian 24 Hour Track Invitational is to encourage records and top performances by Australian runners and others from around the world. Prize money will be awarded to athletes achieving certain performance standards, as listed below. Only the Male & Female Invitational Race winners are eligible for the “Winner” awards, all other runners in the Invitational Race are eligible for the “Non-Winner” awards. Runners meeting several performance standards are only eligible for their single greatest award amount. Prize money awarded is in AUD (Australian Dollars).

Australian runners intending on pursuing an age group or open record, are strongly recommended to get in touch with the Race Director and the AURA records officer via records@aura.asn.au ahead of their attempt.

It is up to the athlete to formally apply for an ultra running record/s to be recognized. Please submit an application along with the Race Directors Certification and all supporting documents to the AURA Records and Rankings officer.

International runners intending on pursuing international records are strongly recommended to get in touch with the Race Director ahead of their attempt.
